Berg signs four-year deal with Panathinaikos

Swedish international striker Marcus Berg has joined Panathinaikos from Hamburg for an undisclosed fee, the Greek Super League club announced Monday.

Berg has inked a four-year contract with the Athens club and will reportedly receive an annual salary of 400,000 euros ($515,000).

The 27-year-old has scored six goals in 23 appearances for the Swedish national team.

Meanwhile, OFI Crete have brought in twice-capped Portuguese goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes, 29, on a one-year loan deal from Dutch side Twente.
