Zamparini reveals Pastore offer
26 Oct 2010 - 15:55:30
Palermo chairman Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed that a Spanish club tabled a half-hearted offer for striker Javier Pastore that was immediately rejected.
The club owner is in no rush to sell the star man, but he admits the Argentina international does have a price.
"There has been no official offer from anyone - just an approach from a Spanish club for about 25million euros," he suggested.
"There has been nothing from Italy. As I have said before, Pastore is priceless because he is not for sale.
"However, I do realise that it will not be easy to keep him here as I believe he is valued at around 60million euros.
"He is a player that one day will win the Golden Ball. He is one of the strongest players in the world."
