Zamp warns Cavani bidders

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has warned would-be suitors that his club will not allow Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani to leave the club on the cheap.

The 22-year-old has scored 24 goals in 91 league appearances for Palermo to date and was recently linked with interest from Serie A champions Internazionale.

However, Zamparini told StadioNews.it: "Cavani will stay with us, unless some club is willing to commit an act of transfer folly.

"I have no intention of tearing Palermo apart and so I will not sell him that easily."

Cavani moved to Italy in January 2007 from Danubio and made his international debut just over a year later.
