Raggi seals Palermo move

Palermo have completed deals to sign Empoli defender Andrea Raggi and Fiorentina midfielder Fabio Liverani.
The Sicilians have seen defensive duo Andrea Barzagli and Cristian Zaccardo leave the club to move to Germany to join Wolfsburg and have moved quickly to bolster their ranks.
Raggi told Calcio Parlato: "It is a great feeling. I am very excited to come to Palermo, which is a great place in every sense.
"I knew for a long time that the Sicilians were watching me and they came to an agreement with Empoli a few days ago, leaving me to settle terms.
"To be the successor to Barzagli and Zaccardo will be a great motivation to me, because they are top-class defenders."
Former Italy international Liverani moves to Sicily after rejecting a one-year contract offer from La Viola.
