Kjaer not joining Juventus

Palermo defender Simon Kjaer has not agreed a deal to join Juventus, according to his agent.

The Denmark international was reported to have accepted a proposal to join the Turin club when the transfer window reopens in January.

"There is no truth in the stories," said agent Mikkel Beck. "Simon is happy in Palermo and there are no negotiations going on with Juventus.

"Kjaer has a contract with Palermo and any decisions over his future will be taken by (president) Maurizio Zamparini's club. I think he'll remain in Sicily during January.

"It's nice to read that Simon interests Juventus, Milan, Inter, Liverpool and the rest as they are important compliments, but the only important thing for now is Palermo."
