Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed that he is close to agreeing a deal that will see striker Amauri head to Juventus in the summer.
The 27-year-old Brazilian-born forntman has been linked with a number of top clubs across Europe, but appears settled on a move to Turin to link up with Juve.
Zamparini commented: "We got round the table and looked at the situation.
"Their interest for Amauri is confirmed. We saw what players they have at their disposal and we'll see what happens.
"There will be another meeting in about 30 days and from now until then our director of sport, Rino Foschi, and Juve's staff will work to reach an agreement and I think it will happen."
Amauri joined Palermo in the summer of 2006 from Chievo and has scored 21 goals in 49 Serie A appearances for his current club.
