The agent of Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli has dismissed talk of his client wanting to join Lecce for next season.
The 28-year-old frontman has scored seven times in 21 appearances for the Sicilians this season and has come in for some criticism from outspoken club president, Maurizio Zamparini.
He recently stated: "I don't want players who lack motivation. Most of all I don't want anyone who doesn't want to be in Palermo and so he will probably leave.
However, Miccoli's agent, Francesco Caliandro, responded by saying: "He has a contract at Palermo until 2010 and he intends to respect it.
"Fabrizio is enjoying life with the Rosanero and his aim is to get over all the difficulties he has had this term.
"Miccoli has expressed his desire to finish his career at Lecce on several occasions, but that doesn't mean that he wants to play there next term."
Italy international Miccoli started his career with Casarano, before going on to enjoy spells with Ternana, Perugia, Juventus, Fiorentina and Benfica.
