Wilder disappointed with draw
Oxford manager Chris Wilder was left disappointed after his side's 2-2 draw with Wycombe. The Us eased into a two-goal lead through Alfie Potter and an own goal from Dave Winfield before Scott Rendell and Jon-Paul Pittman salvaged a point for the Chairboys.Wilder said: "I'm gutted we haven't won that game. I thought we were great, especially in the first half, but we had a mad ten minutes. Their keeper made three or four good saves and we should have had a penalty."I don't understand how the ref didn't give that, and he even had the whistle in his mouth. The decisions didn't go for us. But for us, we've again not won a game that we should have seen out. It's happened too many times here. And that's the difference between us and Wycombe at the moment."We showed a good reaction from losing at Bury last week, and James Constable really worked his socks off and got after their two centre halves. I possibly made a mistake in taking him off in the second half, in hindsight, but you do these things to try and win the game."I thought we might have nicked one at the end when we got over the disappointment of them getting back into the game. They're a good side and they're not going to lie down, and that's why they're up there. But Nikki Bull made an unbelievable save for them from Tommy Craddock."
