Smalley still sidelined

Oxford look set to be without Deane Smalley once again when they face play-off rivals York.

There is just one point and one place separating the Us from the Minstermen but they will be without striker Smalley who continues to struggle with a calf strain which has kept him out since April 5.

There is better news for boss Gary Waddock in the shape of winger Alfie Potter, who is back to full fitness having returned to action as a substitute in the victory over Plymouth last Saturday.

James Constable's strike in that 2-0 win against the Pilgrims means he is just one goal behind Graham Atkinson's record of 107.

York boss Nigel Worthington could name the same starting line-up as his side bid to climb back into the top seven.

Worthington has no new selection issues, while striker Calvin Andrew is hoping to resume up front after making his first start for the club in last week's home draw against Accrington.

Teenage defender Tom Allan is pushing for a recall after reverting to the substitutes' bench last week, but midfielder Josh Carson, striker Wes Fletcher and defender Daniel Parslow (all knee) are out for the rest of the season.
