Damian Batt scored his first goal for Oxford to help the league leaders to a comfortable win against Altrincham.The hosts were awarded an early penalty when Stuart Coburn fouled Simon Clist in the area, but Matthew Green saw his spot-kick saved by Stuart Coburn. Oxford missed a series of chances but finally took the lead when Steve Kinniburgh set up Batt who slotted in.
