Oxford director Merry steps down

Former Oxford United chairman Nick Merry has resigned as a director of the club for personal reasons.Merry was replaced by current chairman Kelvin Thomas at the Kassam Stadium last October. A former United youth team player, Merry took over the club in March 2006 but was unable to prevent them suffering relegation to the Conference.
