Constable proud to wear U`s armband

Oxford's James Constable admits being named club captain is a "great honour".The 25-year-old striker, who has taken over the armband from Adam Murray after he left the Kassam Stadium over the summer, will lead out the team at Burton in their League Two season opener on Saturday. It will not be a new experience for Constable though after he captained the U's for the second half of last season when Murray was injured."I came here two years ago and have just fallen in the love with the place," Constable told BBC Oxford."To lead the team out is a great honour. It's something I am delighted to be doing and I am very proud."We can look forward to a season of League Two football now and we will be aiming for some success at the end of it."
