Burnell makes Oxford United exit

Former Oxford United captain Joe Burnell has left the Kassam Stadium by mutual consent.The 28-year-old midfielder made 28 appearance for the U's after joining from Northampton last summer. Burnell was placed on the transfer-list along with left-back Chris Carruthers by manager Chris Wilder.
