Youth role for Allen
Oxford have named former winger Chris Allen as their new youth team coach.
The 37-year-old made 181 appearances for the Us between 1991 and 1996 after coming through the club`s youth set-up.
He went on to play for Nottingham Forest, Luton, Cardiff, Port Vale, Stockport and Dover.
"I know a lot of the lads in the Under-18 side and have worked with many of them. There are some exciting prospects," Allen told the club`s official website.
