Oxford United will be without central defender Jake Wright for up to eight weeks with a foot injury. The 24-year-old suffered the injury during the U's 2-1 win at Chesterfield last week and a scan has shown he has fractured his fifth metatarsal. [LNB]Oxford boss Chris Wilder said: "The results of the scan are obviously disappointing for Jake and for us. [LNB]"He had worked hard to get back into the team and back to fitness, so it's bad timing for this to happen." [LNB]The former Brighton defender had only recently returned from a back injury but Wilder insists his side will cope without their vice-captain. [LNB]"As we showed in the rest of the game at Chesterfield last week, this is a squad game and it means others will get a chance to show what they can do."
