Wilder tips Gills

Oxford manager Chris Wilder was pleased to take a point at Priestfield and backed the Gills to make the play-offs at the end of the season. Cody McDonald hit the post in the final minute but Oxford held on to take a point in a goalless draw. Wilder said: "They're a good side and they've got good players and they've been on a great run, so understandably we've had to answer a few questions. "We were under pressure for the first five minutes and again in the last five minutes, when they've taken a few gambles. We're still a relatively inexperienced side and it was a test for us and one that I think we've passed. "We knew when they beat us earlier in the season and we got their away run going that they were going to go and win a few games and it wouldn't surprise me if they were in the mix at the end of the season. "It was a good tasty battle and I think the draw was a fair result. It was a bit hairy at times, but that suits us to a tee. We're a new young team in this league and we are doing alright and we get examined at times."
