Wilder ponders changes

Oxford manager Chris Wilder has no new injury or suspension problems for the trip to Chesterfield. However, he could be tempted to make changes as he looks to halt a run of five defeats in a row in all competitions. The Us started Saturday`s 1-0 defeat against Gillingham in a 4-3-3 formation with loanee Steven Maclean leading the line with Alfie Potter and Tom Craddock playing on the wings, but Wilder may be tempted to change to 4-4-2. James Constable made his comeback from illness with a 45-minute appearance at the weekend and will be hoping to partner Maclean up front. Josh Payne could therefore drop to the bench with Tom Craddock moving to a wide midfield role.
