Wilder likely to keep the faith
Oxford manager Chris Wilder, fresh from signing a new three-year contract, is unlikely to have central defender Jake Wright back for the clash with Stockport.
Wright missed out at Hereford due to a stiff back while Damian Batt, who has sat out the last five games with an ankle injury, is still on the sidelines.
Wilder is likely to name the same side for the second consecutive game following the comfortable 2-0 victory over Hereford.
That means Harry Worley and Anthony Tonkin are set to play against their former club with Ben Purkiss and Mark Creighton joining them in the back four.
Oxford are on a four-game unbeaten run and have won the last two. They have also gone 371 minutes since conceding a league goal.
