Oxford have completed the signing of Paul Wotton on a two-month loan deal.
The 33-year-old has penned terms which will see him stay with the club until the end of December and is set to make his debut against Rotherham on Saturday.
"He is an experienced lad with a great attitude," boss Chris Wilder told the club's official website. "He is a leader and wants to come here and do well with Oxford.
"His record speaks for itself and for the last couple of weeks we have been looking for exactly his type of experience and will to win.
"I am delighted that he is coming in on loan."
