New signing Asa Hall has hailed Oxford's pre-season tour of Scotland as a success, bringing the team together both on and off the pitch. The 23-year-old midfielder impressed during the U's 0-0 draw with Livingston and has praised his team-mates who have bonded well during their short stay north of the border. The draw had followed a 2-0 win over Dumbarton and the players enjoyed the victory with a night out, which united them away from football. Hall said: "It's been a good week up here in Scotland. "It's been a real good workout and really brought the lads together, which is great." The former Luton player, who signed for U's on a two-year deal back in May, has felt at home since he arrived, adding: "I feel like I've always been here - the lads are a top bunch."
