Charlie Raglan should return for Oxford

Oxford defender Charlie Raglan could be back in contention to start the Sky Bet League One clash against promotion-chasing Scunthorpe.

Centre-half Raglan, on loan from Chesterfield, was an unused substitute for the midweek defeat at Oldham following a hamstring injury.

Midfielder Ryan Ledson is available for selection before he heads off with the England Under-20 squad.

Joe Rothwell, Liam Sercombe and forward Antonio Martinez are all options should U's boss Michael Appleton look to freshen-up his team.

Scunthorpe are set to be without leading scorer Josh Morris once again as they look to build on their midweek win over Rochdale.

Morris required stitches in his foot after the Iron's recent defeat at Charlton and although he will be assessed before the game he is unlikely to be risked.

Kevin van Veen is out after being injured in the last-gasp Dale win while Conor Townsend and Sam Mantom are both still out.

Boss Graham Alexander, who will watch the game from the stand after being handed a one-game touchline ban, has a couple of other injury concerns but will assess his squad ahead of the trip south.
