Jordan Graham banned for Plymouth clash

Jordan Graham will miss Oxford's game against Plymouth due to suspension.

The 20-year-old midfielder saw red after picking up a pair of cautions in the 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient and must now sit out before returning for the home clash against Barnet at the weekend.

U's boss Michael Appleton has plenty of options to replace Graham, though, with Patrick Hoban, Danny Hylton and Alex MacDonald at the top of the pecking order.

Danny Rose, who was back on the bench at the weekend following a hip injury, could also come into consideration.

League leaders Plymouth are sweating on the fitness of their leading goalscorer Reuben Reid.

Reid has scored four goals in his past four games but had to be withdrawn in the win over Accrington at the weekend having picked up a hip injury just 10 minutes after grabbing the winner.

Graham Carey, who has weighed in with five goals himself, has been restricted to substitute's appearances in the past two games due to a knee injury but Pilgrims boss Derek Adams believes his condition is improving.

Argyle have a three-point advantage at the summit, have won five matches in a row and are unbeaten in their past eight fixtures.
