Melville: Oxford can make the play-offs

Oxford coach Andy Melville believes his side need a strong end to the season if they are to reach the npower League Two play-offs. Successive wins over Crewe and Burton leave the Us just three points adrift of the top seven with seven games to go, but Melville insists a good run of form could see them leapfrog their promotion rivals. "It's all about who goes on the runs," Melville told the Oxford Mail. "Stevenage have won five on the bounce and, if we get in and around that, we'll have a chance. "We've won two on the bounce and we've just got to keep that going as long as we can. "I think we saw a bit of confidence coming back last week and you could see it again on Sunday."
