McLaren races into Oxford
Oxford have recruited experienced midfielder Paul McLaren until the end of the season.
Us boss Chris Wilder pounced to capture the 34-year-old's signature following his release from Tranmere in November.
McLaren has over 450 appearances to his name after spells with Luton, Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham and Bradford and Wilder believes the veteran is a worthy addition.
He said: "He has played his entire career in the Football League and has a lot of experience.
"He has a calming influence on the dressing room, is a good footballer and is a great person to have in the squad."
