Franks joins United
Oxford have signed Huddersfield defender Leigh Franks on a six-month loan deal following a trial spell.
Franks, 19, has impressed throughout pre-season and currently has one year left on his contract with the Terriers.
Excited by the prospect of first-team football, Franks told the club's official website: "I haven't been getting in the team at Huddersfield and they have signed a few centre-halves over the summer so this is an ideal chance to get out and try to play a few games.
"You have to aim as high as you can and although I know it's not going to be easy holding down a place I'm looking forward to the challange ahead."
