Craddock missing for U`s

Oxford manager Chris Wilder is without the suspended Tom Craddock for the visit of Shrewsbury. The striker serves his one-match suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Barnet and is unavailable. Defender Leigh Franks limped out of a reserve-team game with a tight hamstring and may miss Saturday's game which leaves Harry Worley and Ben Futcher as the U's only recognised central defenders. The break for bad weather has helped Jake Wright's recovery from a foot operation. The defender is likely to make a return to action in the new year which is earlier than first thought. Striker Matt Green, midfielder Asa Hall and defender Ben Purkiss all represented the reserves in midweek in order to stake a claim for a return to Wilder's starting line-up.
