Clarke - Billy's my best mate
Ryan Clarke said the attitude of Billy Turley, whom he has replaced as the team's No 1 keeper, and the guidance of goalkeeping coach Alan Hodgkinson, had helped him enormously in his first season at the club. After collecting the supporters’ player-of-the-year award this week, Clarke admitted: “I’ve had probably the hardest act to follow out of any of the new signings. “But Billy’s been fantastic with me all season, and his attitude’s been spot on. “Every day he’s been absolutely fantastic.
