Batt back for Us

Oxford defender Damian Batt will step up his recovery from an ankle injury by featuring for the reserves against Luton on Wednesday. The 26-year-old right-back started the first four games of the season but has missed the last 12 after picking up the problem in the 0-0 draw with Wycombe on August 21. Batt, who is likely to be joined in the squad to face the Hatters by Leigh Franks, Mark Creighton, Richie Baker, Steven Kinniburgh, Jack Midson, Matt Green and Mitchell Cole, is delighted to be back. He told BBC Sport: "It's great, I've been out a while and it's good to be back involved. "I have missed training and being with the lads and kicking a football, so it is fantastic to be back."
