Greek international right back Vasilis Torosidis has joined Italian club AS Roma from Olympiakos for an undisclosed fee, the Greek club announced on Wednesday.
Torosidis, 27, was due to sign a five-year contract worth 2.5 million euros ($3.3m) a year, according to Italian press reports.
Since joining Olympiakos from Xanthi in 2007, Torosidis has played 134 games for the club and scored 12 goals. Capped 54 times for his country, he has also scored seven international goals.
