Touchline ban for Sheridan
17 Mar 2007 - 10:25:22
Oldham Athletic manager John Sheridan has been handed a three-match touchline ban by the Football Association.
The Latics boss admitted a charge of using foul and/or abusive language to referee Richard Beeby in last month's 3-0 defeat at Port Vale.
Sheridan was sent to the stands by the official and has now been fined £600 and banned from the dugout for three matches.
The ban begins on April 2, which means he will watch the games against Huddersfield Town, Bradford City and Cheltenham Town from the stands.
