Taylor describes the feeling

"experience was unbelievable"
Chris Taylor described his visit to Anfield as an "unbelievable" experience. The 25-year-old from Springhead said,
“It was unbelievable occasion, an unbelievable night and one I will never forget. When I walked out and I heard 'You'll never walk alone' being sung at a packed ground, it gave me goose pimples. Obviously a defeat is still a defeat and it hurts. The game was never a 5-1 and they were so lucky with their first two goals, the deflection and the penalty. I asked Steve Gerrard and he even admitted it was never one. I just wish we could have held on to our lead until half time to see if the upset could have happened.”“We gave a good account of ourselves, but when people open the paper it will say 5-1 and think it was an easy victory for Liverpool which it certainly wasn't for three quarters of the game. However, we were playing against world-class players. They took it very seriously and I was surprised how strong the starting line up was. There has been non-stop talking about this game ever since the draw was made. When I was relaxing before the game I was going on Facebook and every update was about the game.”Sponsored links
