Sheridan snares Turner

Oldham Athletic boss John Sheridan has strengthened his promotion-chasing squad by signing the Coventry City central defender Ben Turner on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old has made three first-team appearances for the Sky Blues and also played ten games for Peterborough United earlier this season during a loan spell at London Road.

Meanwhile, X-rays have shown that Chris Hall did not break his leg in training.

Doctors are continuing to examine the injury though, and the striker could still be ruled out for the rest of the season as there is believed to be serious damage around the affected area.
