Purdie reunited with Penney

New Oldham Athletic boss Dave Penney has made Darlington midfielder Rob Purdie his first signing of the summer.
Penney has returned to the club he left last month to capture the 26-year-old, who has penned a two-year deal with the Latics.
Puride started his career as a trainee with Leicester City before moving to Hereford United seven years ago.
He spent five seasons with the Bulls before sealing a transfer to Darlington in the summer of 2007 and was a virtual ever-present during his two seasons with the Quakers.
