Penney laughs off Vaughan talk

Oldham Athletic manager Dave Penney has denied that he is interested in signing former Chester City defender James Vaughan.
The 22-year-old is currently playing for Australian side Wollongong who reported on their website that the Latics were about to offer Vaughan a one-year deal.
However, Penney told the Oldham Chronicle: "Why would I want to sign a right back?
"We have Neal Eardley and Kelvin Lomax and are more than covered in that position."
Meanwhile Kevin Maher, who was released by Penney last month, is about to sign for Gillingham.
