Oldham hierarchy concerned

Oldham Athletic chief executive Alan Hardy has admitted that the club's big-wigs are starting to get disgruntled at the club's current plight.

The League One strugglers occupy a place in the bottom four after enduring a dismal run of form.

With just two wins in the last 15 league fixtures, Dave Penney's Latics are in free-fall, but Hardy knows they are just two games from a brighter position.

Speaking to the Oldham Chronicle, Hardy said: "The manager doesn't need me to tell him we are having a bad run and he is as concerned about it as the board and fans are.

"But we are only four points away from a mid-table position and the next three games, at home to Brentford (on Saturday) and away to Tranmere and Stockport, are winnable providing, of course, we can start scoring goals again."
