No Latics return for Hughes

The former West Brom and Coventry forward turned down an offer to stay with the Latics and is currently locked in talks with League Two outfit Notts County. Hughes rejected a contract offer in January which would have made him Oldham's highest-paid player. Corney told the club's official website: "We made Lee an offer and after consideration he informed us he would not be signing. "We understand he is now speaking to other clubs, meaning the manager will pursue other options."
