Oldham Athletic's loan midfielder David Livermore has accepted that his career with Hull City has come to a premature end.
The 28-year-old joined the Latics on transfer deadline day and has revealed that he was axed by the Tigers just before he earned himself a new contract.
He told the Yorkshire Post: "I have a contract at Hull where if I play 25 games for them this season I will get another year.
"I have played 23 and a couple of days before the transfer deadline I was told I wouldn't be playing any more.
"I was very surprised because we were pushing for a play-off position and things seemed to be going okay, but obviously that was that.
"It was disappointing, but they made a decision about it and I have to move on."
