Latics swoop for Livermore

Oldham Athletic snapped up David Livermore from Hull City late on transfer deadline day.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined the Latics on an initial one-month loan deal.
Livermore has made over 350 career appearances but was deemed surplus to requirements at the Championship club.
Meanwhile, the Latics pulled out of a loan deal to sign Liverpool's Besian Idrizaj after citing the influence of the player's agent.
"The loan deal has collapsed after the player backtracked on the deal at the last possible minute," read a club statement.
"With all arrangements made, the 20-year-old's agent got involved and persuaded the player not to join the club.
"Manager John Sheridan and his staff do not wish to employ players who do not wish to play for the club and will therefore re-assess the situation."
