Latics sustain Kabba blow

Oldham Athletic loan striker Steve Kabba faces around a month out of action due to a hamstring injury.

The 28-year-old, who has yet to score in six outings for the Latics, reported the problem ahead of the 2-1 weekend defeat at Leyton Orient.

Manager Joe Royle told the club's official website: "Steven tweaked his hamstring in training on Friday and he didn't think there was any problem as he completed the session.

"But it stiffened up in the morning and it became clear he could not play."
