Oldham Athletic have snapped up Chelsea youth star Fabio Ferreira on an initial month's loan.
The Portuguese winger was one of a number of promising youngsters bought by the Roman Abramovich administration, moving from Sporting Lisbon in 2005.
The Portugal Under-19 international impressed Oldham during a short trial and told the club's official website: "I am very happy to sign this month. Hopefully I can get some first-team experience and help the club along.
"I have been fortunate to train with some of the best players in the world at Chelsea and I am very proud to be able to work with them.
"I have learned a lot from training with them. I am enjoying things up in Oldham - the lads are very good to me and we have some good players."
