Oldham Athletic manager John Sheridan has opted to release two of the Latics' younger squad members.
Teenage midfielder Ashley Kelly and 20-year-old utility man Michael Pearson have been told they will not be offered new Boundary Park contracts.
Pearson made only two substitute appearances for the first team and had a spell on loan at Farsley Celtic in the first half of this season.
Kelly came through the club's youth team ranks and was a regular on the substitute's bench in the second half of the League One side's campaign.
