Latics land Gregan

Oldham Athletic boss John Sheridan has snapped up the Leeds United midfielder Sean Gregan on loan until the beginning of January.

The 32-year-old had been told last week by Whites boss Dennis Wise that he was surplus to requirements at Elland Road.

Gregan made 64 Championship appearances for Leeds after joining the club from West Brom in September 2004.

He started his career at Darlington and also spent almost six years with Preston North End.
