Latics invite kidnap victim to match

Latics chief executive Alan Hardy has been in contact with the Oldham family of the five-year-old who is returning to his hometown after his kidnap ordeal in Pakistan, where he spent 12 days in captivity after visiting relatives. Hardy said: "I have spoken to the family's representative to extend an invite to Sohil and his family to attend Saturday's game as guests of the club and they are considering it. "We thought it would be an opportunity for the people of Oldham to welcome Sahil back to the town after his ordeal."
