Latics exit for Barlow

24 November 2006 10:53
Oldham Athletic manager John Sheridan has allowed teenage striker Matty Barlow to join Conference new boys Stafford Rangers on a two-month loan deal. The Latics boss had said earlier in the week that he wanted Chris Leven, Michael Pearson, Barlow, Matthew Wolfenden and Chris Baguely to leave Boundary Park on loan to gain valuable first-team experience, but only Barlow has actually teamed up with another side. The 19-year-old has been given permission to play for Stafford in next weekend's FA Cup second round clash against Brighton. Barlow has made one start for the Latics and also made 12 appearances from the substitute's bench.
