Injured Jones suffers setback

Oldham Athletic have been dealt a blow after it was confirmed that Daniel Jones will not to return to action for another eight weeks.

The 21-year-old, who is on loan from Wolves, is receiving treatment at Molineux for an ankle injury.

Jones sustained the problem during the early stages of the 2-2 draw at Peterborough United.

Latics boss John Sheridan has already said that he is hoping to extend Jones' loan stay at Boundary Park until the end of the season.
