We were poor - Dickov

Oldham manager Paul Dickov admitted his team were poor as they failed to find a way through a disciplined Carlisle in a 1-0 defeat. Craig Curran netted the Cumbrians' winner 10 minutes from time after getting on the end of Ben Marshall's cross to score from close-range and leave Dickov deflated. He said: "We are very disappointed because that is probably as poor as we have been for a long time. "You have to give Carlisle credit, though, because they came here with a gameplan which worked for them and we struggled to break them down. "Every one of my players gave it a real go, but there was not enough of a threat and the quality was not really there. "Our unbeaten run (seven matches) has gone, but now it's important to dust ourselves down because we are capable of going on another one. We wanted to put on a performance for the big crowd. It was fantastic to see so many here on a wet Tuesday night and I hope people will come back to see what we can really do."
