Veteran Liddell ends Latics career
The 35-year-old, who made 144 appearances and scored 33 goals in four seasons for the Latics, will now look for another club in the summer.
Chief executive Alan Hardy told the club's official website: "We sat down with Andy to discuss his situation and the result was the club would be terminating his contract.
"An agreement has been reached on a settlement and the player has left the club with immediate effect."
