Dickov takes part Training at Boundary Park has started well as Paul Dickov has started preparations for the upcoming League One campaign. His players have been put through their paces of pre-season training at the Lancaster Club. Dickov also included himself with the training as he hopes to appear in some of the pre-season friendlies.Dickov commented, “The first day is a bit different from 15 to 20 years ago when all everyone did was run hard all day. Sessions will be structured for different needs. It’s also a chance for players to get to know each other again after the break. Those who are coming back from injury will be doing bits and pieces to ease them back in.” He praised the response of his players as he watched them and said, “I was delighted. It was a good session and I got a great reaction from the players. We also had a good chat and they took on board what was said. After a few weeks of making ’phone calls and being behind a desk, it was good to be out on the pitch. It was exciting and I enjoyed it.”
