Taylor brushes off Jones row

Oldham winger Chris Taylor believes his heated exchange with team-mate Ritchie Jones illustrated the passion of both players. The pair squared up to one another at the end of Tuesday's goalless draw at MK Dons after a disagreement over a free-kick. But Taylor, who skippered the Latics in Reuben Hazell's absence, dismissed the clash as nothing more than "a bit of handbags." Taylor said: "I thought he made the wrong decision by not putting the ball in the box, but he took a quick free-kick. "It was bit of handbags. I love him and he loves me too. It was a disagreement, but it shows we are both passionate. I don't mind disagreements because it shows that both of us care. "It doesn't matter now and is all forgotten about."
