minor surgery completed and full recovery expected Midfielder Dale Stephens has had keyhole surgery to overcome a groin-muscle problem and the 22-year-old midfield player has been forced to report daily to Boundary Park for treatment. This has cut short his plans of a summer holiday.Stephens blames the injury on the fact that he has been playing regularly for the second half of the season even though he never made a first team appearance in his first 18 months at Boundary Park. This overload of games he explained as, "I played a lot of consecutive games, something my body wasn't used to."The surgery was a minor one and he is fully expected to be recovered long before the rest of the players come back for pre-season training at the end of June.
